Keep Pinellas Beautiful – Patricia DePlasco
Since 1992, Keep Pinellas Beautiful has been providing opportunities for meaningful service to bay area residents of all ages. As a volunteer‐based, 501(c)3 nonprofit community action/education organization and certified affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, Keep Pinellas Beautiful forms partnerships with local governments, businesses, schools, non‐profits, and neighborhood organizations to turn public spaces into beautiful places.
Our mission is to conserve and beautify our natural environment by means of community engagement and education. Our four focus areas are litter prevention, waste reduction, conservation, and beautification. From Tampa Bay to the Gulf of Mexico, from Tarpon Springs to Ft. DeSoto, Keep Pinellas Beautiful works with volunteers to foster unity and strengthen community bonds through improvement and beautification efforts across Pinellas County.
Cleaning up our public spaces, parks, neighborhoods, and shorelines is only part of the picture. We’re about people working with people for the betterment of our communities. Keep Pinellas Beautiful provides volunteer opportunities that develop individual responsibility and environmental stewardship. Through hands-on participation, we get people excited, inspiring an environmental motivation and developing a true sense of pride and ownership. People feel good about volunteering with us because they immediately see the difference they are making in the health and appearance of their community.

Freedom Boat Club of Tampa Bay – Donald Dettloff
Freedom Boat Club of Tampa Bay is the premier boat club across the world!
We started in Sarasota, FL back in 1989 and have grown tremendously to the 340+ locations we have today, worldwide.
We are a hassle-free alternative to boat ownership!
We do all the cleaning, and maintenance, and fill up the gas for you. You simply just show up, grab the keys and are on your way, while you are out there, have a blast!
You can bring your pets, fish, watersports, beach up, island hop, etc..
You can have up to two captains on the membership, as long as it is a spouse or significant other living in the same household, for no extra charge! Both members just need to go through a New Member Orientation with one of our licensed captains and will be certified to use the boats.
With Freedom Boat Club of Tampa Bay, you get unlimited access to use our boats within the Greater Tampa Bay area. This includes St. Pete, St. Pete Beach, Tampa, Ruskin, Alafia, Clearwater, Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, and as far north as Crystal River. We have 30+ locations within the Tampa Bay club alone. If you travel as well, you will also get access to any reciprocal location across the world four times per location per year and we have 340+ at the moment.
We have several different styles of boats you can utilize as well. In the Tampa Bay club you will find four main styles of boats. Including:
Offshore Center Consoles (22-24’)
Inshore Center Consoles (17-21’)
Pontoons/Tritoons (22-23’)
Deck Boats (19-23’)
With our Plans, you can always call on the same day, Mon-Sun, and if we have a boat available we will get you on the water.
You will also have access to a reservation system where you can book boats ahead of time for a future outing.
Monday-Friday, one reservation is a full day which is 30 minutes after sunrise to 30 minutes before sunset.
Saturday and Sunday we offer an AM session (8-1) or a PM session from (2-30 minutes before sunset) for one reservation or you can use two reservations for the full day.
You can hold up to four reservations at one time and then just need to use a reservation or cancel a reservation in order to book another one down the road.
In order to get set up and get a membership you simply pay a one-time initial fee and then monthly payments.
The only fees you have day of, are gas when you go out, but again we do all the work for you filling up the boat; the Dockmaster’s work off of tips.
We also have an insurance plan that you pay for once a year, it includes towing, an umbrella policy, a deductible for major damages twice a year, and small damages are covered each year as well.
Here are the two membership plans we are offering at the moment:
PORT - You will have access to reserve boats ahead of time Mon, Wed, Thur, Sat
STARBOARD - You will have access to reserve Tues, Wed, Fri, Sun.
** You can use the boats 7 days a week but will need to call the night before or day of on the three days you can not reserve the boats, and if we have boats available, we will get you out on the water **
