IgniteHer, Inc. is a Clearwater-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit helping women and children recognize abuse, build safety skills, and rebuild their lives.

We serve survivors, families, and communities across Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties through education, prevention, and direct support.

Our programs include:

Kids First Bright Bags — Comfort bags delivered to children present on domestic violence calls, in partnership with local law enforcement.

Self-Defense Classes — Ongoing hands-on training for women and teens in partnership with Gracie Largo West, including a free 10-day trial.

Domestic Violence 101 — Presentations for workplaces, churches, civic clubs, and conferences on recognizing and responding to domestic abuse.

Dating Violence 101: It's Not Just Teen Drama — School and community presentations helping students, parents, and educators recognize early signs of relationship abuse in young people.

Community Outreach & Prevention Events — Awareness events, panels, educational campaigns, and speaking engagements that bring the conversation into the community.

Purple Paws Initiative — Keeping pets safe in Pinellas County in partnership with Protecting Paws for Life, so survivors never have to leave an animal behind to escape abuse.

Justice Fund — Removing financial barriers for survivors who need legal support, filing fees, or court costs to move forward safely.

We serve women, children, and families across Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Tampa, and the greater Tampa Bay region — and welcome schools, parent groups, youth organizations, workplaces, churches, and community partners ready to bring education and awareness to their audience.
